On 21 July 2017, the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers organized a seminar titled “Overview on the Smart Technologies in Video Surveillance Applications” at its headquarters in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. Dr. Wallace Ma, CEO of WAMA Technology Ltd., was invited as the keynote speaker of the seminar.

The event attracted a large turnout. More than 70 engineers from different disciplines and who are working in a diverse range of industries attended the talk. In the presentation, Dr. Ma introduced a number of smart technologies that are revolutionizing the video surveillance industry in the global market; he also shared his insights on how to maximize the return on investments in implementing these technologies on different applications.

During the seminar, live demonstrations of the WAMA 12MP 360° fisheye camera, 4K H.265 compact dome IP camera, as well as 36CH H.265 4K network video recorder were also presented to the audience. Q&A session was also arranged at the end of the presentation and many participants expressed great interests in knowing more about the latest video surveillance technologies and solutions offered by WAMA.
